WorkCabin Communications has launched another rural progressive website in Norfolk County, Ontario. The Norfolk Woodlot Owners Association chose WorkCabin to build a new interactive website to serve its 300+ members. The member website site is the largest site of its kind in Norfolk County. A key feature of the site is a new members-only interactive area where information can be shared, and discussions held about forest-related topics. The site also now enables the association to display sponsors.

The website is also optimized for mobile devices and tablets (no need to pinch two fingers to view a page!) so members can view the site and interact directly from their woodlots if necessary, and members can now pay their membership dues online.

The website is built on the proven open source Content Management System WordPress. This means that the association can now easily administer and update its site and avoid costly ‘website management’ fees typically associated with websites built on custom proprietary website management systems.
