Had a fantastic time delivering a rural social media workshop to Norfolk County Tourism this week. Lots of great questions and hands-on learning during the four-hour training session. Topics included Why Social Media is Essential in your Marketing Mix, and The Big Shift in Marketing Today and Reaching Audiences. Case studies showed examples of how other organizations and businesses are leveraging social media for innovative and cost-effective marketing. Also taken into account were tips and tricks to help a small staff effectively use social media within the confines of a busy work week.
